Lima, Peru (CNN) – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the buck stops with her when it comes to who is to blame for security ahead of a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.
“I take responsibility” for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN’s Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, were the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

It makes Obama look bad IMO
Women will not appreciate this happening to HRC. I see a rift happening here in the Democratic Party.

It's interesting this story breaks 24 hours before the next presidential debate. Good strategy, IMO.

The question is, does she "take responsibility" for the cover-up? That's what I want to know. Is she responsible for the Obama administration's claims for two weeks that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to a silly YouTube video? Was she responsible for that lie and the subsequent apology about the video - I use that word, "lie", because the facts show that the State Department and White House knew the true nature of events in Benghazi within 24 hours - or was she just saying what she was told to say (i.e., what the WH told her to say)?
It's not the attack itself that bothers me; it's the cover-up. Who's responsible for that?

I'm sure there will be at least one question on Benghazi. Romney needs to push O man into publicly acknowledging the failure of HRC.

Yeah, and now that Hillary has served this one up on a platter to Romney the day before the debate, I would hope he brings that point up multiple times.
