I announce Football on Thursday nights. I try to throw in a little levity on occasion. I have used all of the good ones like strategery, trickeration, tacklization etc. Any ideas on what else I should throw out there for entertainment value?

Mr. 1999 uses the word "symbology." It's an Air Force term that translates to "symbols." You can use it to say that the teams are really working on their x's and o's symbology.

Somehow adding syllables it the word makes it better?

"And a deep drive to right field. He's going back, way back! And it's caught by the second baseman in shallow right field." - Hawthorne.

"whoop" "rumbling, bumbling, stumbling"
"touchdown Vietnam"
"it's Thursday night, in death valley"
"Touchdown, jack hunt."
