OU vs UT game tomorrow

I'll be heading out to Dallas in just a bit for my first Red River Shootout. Has anyone been before? Any tips?

I went about 8 years ago. it was fun. nothing that i can think of that you should know. It was still in the cotton bowl when i went obviously and the state fair was cool

here's another bit of advice - next time you go, you can preorder Fair tickets at a discount I believe. Check that out - saves tons of time at the Fair.

I have a ticket to the fair as part of my student ticket (50 yard line, 5th row). Is Friday or Saturday the big day for the fair?

1- Park 2-3 miles away (though you might regret this if we lose )
2- Wake up EARLY and get there at around 10 AM and hang around the fair
3- Watch out for fake tickets, if you don't have any yet
4- If we lose, shake off the loss before night time because you can have a great time if you want to
5- Make those Texas hotties scream BOOMER SOONER tomorrow night.

Early KO's for this game are stupid. The whole point is to enjoy the fair before the game.

Yes I've been. Get tickets for the fair asap and don't let assholes cut in line, especially if there's a UT fan waiting behind you.
The ticket lines are super long if you dont get it done quick.

An entire day for Texas/OU Fans to get liqoured up before already entering a tense atmosphere & then having to walk back to the cars in a fairly shitty neighborhood = no dice.
