The Hornets will make the playoffs this year.

Look at the players we have now.
Ryan Anderson - 6'10" Forward/Center - 40% 3pt FG shooter that led the league with 422 shots. If you can shot 40% from outside the arch, you ARE a 3pt shooter. This guy can stretch a defense and it is tough for an opposing big man to come out and guard him from the 3pt line. He will open up the floor for the big man AD and Lopez. His rebounds have gone up each season from 4.7/gm to 7.7/gm and he averages 3.7 OFFENSIVE rebounds a game tying him with Superman himself, Dwight Howard. He is even averaging just under one steal a game.
Robin Lopez - 7'0" Center - His injuries have been the cause of his decline not to mention Gortat's increase in production so I think this is the steal of the offseason for the NOH. He reminds me of Jason Smith. He has the tools to get it done, but with all the talent around him, he won't have to. He just needs to play defense and drop 8PPG and 7RPG to be useful in this lineup.
Anthony Davis - 6'10" Forward/Center - Bitch Please! This is one talented basketball player. Serge Ibaka? Yes but with the ability to score points. Moving on...
Eric Gordon - 6'3" Guard - He is here to stay! He came into the league on fire and averaged 16.1 PPG in his rookie season. He is a takeover scorer. He can drop 40 in a game every night if needed. And with the defensive front we have, this guy will get his looks. He is a career 45% FG shooter. He will earn that paper this season.
And this is only a quick analysis and a taste of what we have.
We need a PG and there will be no hiding it. But since we have plenty of cap room, I can easily see us luring, wait for it, CP33333333 next season!!! Once CP3 realizes that he won't win in LA, he might want to reconsider coming back to the Big Easy. Look at what he will have around him next season compared to the crap they have now. Yes, Blake Griffin is a beast and De Jordan is a dunk machine but what happened when they got into the playoffs last season? They struggled. Sure they beat Memphis in the first round but barely. They won two games by a point and one in OT. It was apparent that they can't win a title when they got DESTROYED by the Spurs. I think CP3 will come back next season now that we have the tools to win and a coach to win with!

if one were to put $50 down on that, how much would one win?
Posted on 10/10/12 at 10:20 pm to quail man
A lot of people are betting the over so the odds are -130. That means you bet $65 to win 50 or bet $50 to win $38.46

Maybe in another year or 2.

I'm dropping like 300. I don't think we will have a problem winning 26 games.

Tell me about it. I really think we will win more than 25 games. Maybe I'm biased.
