beagle pup (found one)

Anyone know of someone in north Louisiana that has some beagle pups for sale. Just lost my 12 year old beagle and looking for a pup. Never thought I would miss having a dog so bad. Not looking to spend breeder prices. Had to put the pic in cause these are so dame cute

Check Craigslist and the newspaper classifieds. Should be able to get one around $100.
I went with my wife to the pet store in BR and they let us play with a beagle pup. I asked how much and it was over a grand.
I told them we'd check the paper and find a $50 one.

nothing on craigslist currently. The prices can get crazy. I really don't care for papers since I won't breed. Would like to stay under $100. I could easily go with a breeder for $350, but that is a little too much for me right now.

My dad has been breeding and training beagles for over 40 years. All his dogs are of champion bloodline and the few he does sell go for well over $500, some into the $1,000's. Best thing to do is keep checking the sportsman or check local beagle clubs.
