My steak was DELICIOUS! There was only a tiny piece I didn't eat b/c it was fat (cowboy steak)

My friend RUINED her steak and I ridiculed her b/c she got a filet butterflied and cooked medium well. She enjoyed it though and said it was better than Ruth's. Though she likes the option of Blue cheese at Ruth's.

she is a dentist and apparently read some article or something or other a few years back saying not to eat raw meat and so now refuses to eat anything that has blood. She says she used to eat medium or medium rare before that article. Also wont eat sushi if it isn't cooked.

so she's Jewish?
or she believes that a medium rare steak is full of blood?

Sushi doesnt describe the cooked status of fish at all has more to do with the vinegar rice than the fish.

Oh come on. You're food-snobby enough to know that sushi does not mean raw fish.

Actually I'm not. I don't know the first thing about sushi. I never eat it. If I get forced into going to a sushi joint I order something cooked.

Luckily that it was just a friend and not a date because this would have been grounds for no seoncd date

You should have spoken to Desi, he would have taken care of it.

He prides himself on customer service.

You just made my point. If you go to a place like mr. John's and are worring about spending 20 extra bucks or not .... that is not the type of big tippers that the waiters will give extra good service IMHO FWIW
