Not sure why that copy/paste is doubling up. Annoying.

I don't know how much more he wants. He is already one of if not the highest paid players at City.

Dandy since Adrian Lopez had been linked to a January move to Arsenal I was just wondering your thoughts on him. Thanks from your fellow music board poster DB10.

I much prefer my team to be aesthetically pleasing rather than win-at-all costs.

I'm really interested in this aesthetic. I wish someone would start a thread on it. It would be a great discussion for the next interlull.

Nice suggestion. The beauty of the game is what drew me to football in the first place. It's the one game that can give you creative freedom. Some footballers can become artists right before your eyes. Even though he is ManU, Cantona is a good example of this. He played the game the way it is supposed to be played. Pure beauty and class.

As if Manchester United is Stoke and incapable of beautiful football.

Nah yall do play beautiful football. I was speaking more towards my hate for ManU. I may hate yall but I will give respect where it is do. Sorry if it came off as me saying yall don't play the game the right way. Even though the refs still help yall.

BTW Cantona is my all time favorite footballer and it is for his play as much as his philosophy about the game. If you are a Cantona fan I would recommend Cantona : The Rebel Who Would Be King written by Phillippe Auclair. I found it a very engaging book.

I haven't cared about him enough to check...but I remember someone saying that his knee surgery a few weeks ago was successful.

ETA: Six months left to recover.
