For you stat nerds out there :

Les Miles has now lost 19 times since he's been at LSU. In the previous 18 times he has followed up that loss with a win 17 times. The lone loss was to Arkansas 31-30 in 2008.

He has played a ranked opponent 7 times after a loss. He has won all 7 of those games by an average score of 32-16. In those games his teams have averaged 419 yards of offense while giving up 320.

He has played 2 top 10 opponents. 2-0, average score of 32-12, 451-239 yardage differential.

He has played 1 top 5 opponent - #5 Alabama in 2010. LSU won 24-21 at home outgaining the Tide 433-325.

Don't go to sleep on this team or this staff just yet.

So does it take a sh!tty loss like at UF to wake *CLM up enough to actually prepare the team?

2 touchdowns? It is highly unlikely that this team with this defense gets beat by 2 touchdowns at home at night. Not looking at this game unrealistically and saying we are going to curb stomp them. But I think thats a little unrealistic in the other direction.

lulz...now I know you are being a little extreme.

Going in opposite directions because we lost one game? Pretty sure no one was saying this while we went 13-0 last year without the greatest offense in the world. Last year it was "defense wins championships".

Leading up to this season more of the same comments, but now that we lost one game its like the team/program/coach are all dog shite.

Nah... I meant this year. Sorry for the confusion. I feel like USCe is on the rise to a great year this year and LSU is looking like a down year due to injuries, suspensions, and bad coaching... Wish it was different but this team doesn't have the leadership and swag to climb out of holes that Miles puts them in...

I like what you're getting at but the current trend on offense is a cause for concern.

Doesn't matter how good les is after a loss...did you guys not see what south carolina did to Georgia???? Our offense isnt even in the same galaxy compared to them. We got to hope for a shut out to win like a pitching duel or something. This could be one of Les Miles' worst offenses at the end of the year...we saw hints of this last year with Arkansas, Georgia, and Alabama. Hope I am so wrong on this but my gosh this is comical along with all the posting. Guess you have to expect it from the rant haha.
