how many times he had to run into the backs of evans and grubbs to get that?
I think if they keep running like they did towards the end, ingram will get it rolling.

Its really not fair to just judge Ingram off of his total yards gained. You have to take into account their Yards per Carry.

What was his YPG last night? Everytime he gets the ball i can assume the Saints are literally trying to get 1 - 1.5 yards on that particuliar play.

to be fair, if he had 32 carries, he would have had 100 yards yesterday

It was funny lastnight we got a little momentum going in the run game, mark comes in and immediately runs into the back of Evans for a 1 or 2 yd gain, his night was then done.

his best play last night was recovering that fumble. You knew he wasn't going to get far once he got the ball in his hands but that play could have turned out a lot worse

wasn't he responsible for Brees getting sacked on that play?

I think he had to choose a defender to block though. The safety came on a delayed blitz.

yep, which is why he was staring at Brees as he got hit and was able to recover the ball so fast

Now we know why he would only run the ball when he was in the game. He should have easily blocked the blitzer. Time to trade him for whatever we can get.

THe fact that we traded up for a RB in the 1st without an elite skill set still boggles me! #s in college mean jack.
