Not the funniest post of the night, but I appreciate your effort.

i think it's hilarious how quick the fans are to turn on the players after 1 loss in 2 years. so the team wasn't gelling like we wanted. they are young. they can still turn it around.

it's pathetic they don't even give this team a chance to win this weekend. no shite they won't win if they continue to play like they have.. but they are more than capable of winning.

Thanks......comforting to know there is always a "wise arse" lurking out there in some darkened room. You know the type.....intellectually challenged.

I hope you have a good night.

Everyone sees the same problems. But reasonable people aren't ready to throw the baby out with the bathwater. You can't just ignore what Miles and the coaching staff have done in the past just because things aren't going according to plan right now. If this year continues on this path, we reload and try again next year. No team can get to a national championship every year. And no fan base is entitled to 10 win seasons, BCS Bowls or national championships. Most other college football fanbases would kill to have enjoyed the success that LSU has had in the past 6 years.

That's nice but it seems like apologist logic.

No one should accept less than the pursuit of excellence. Les does indeed have a gaudy record but It almost seems to belie an almost comedic display of game management, simplistic game plans and execution.

Sorry, many inside and outside of LSU have questioned his attention to detail.

I think having the most complete regular season ever last year was pretty excellent.

The simplistic game plans are the same ones that have made coaches like Beamer and Tressel so successful.

Serious question: do you think Les is making the right calls on offense? I think my football IQ is okay, but I'm no expert. I've been going insane watching our guys do shite like run up the middle into 8-9 defenders (frequently, several times in a row), or abandon shite that's working for stuff that isn't. The narrative seems to be that les and co are retarded/lazy/arrogant, but you seem to indicate that there is a reasonable motivation for their decisions on offense. Care to expound?
(This sounds like im trolling but I'm not. I feel like there has to be something we as fans are missing)

Not so sure.
A) Doubt we even score a TD there.
B) Even with a TD, Florida comes down and scores a TD on our gassed D to go up 14-13.
C) Even if we somehow won on a miracle 13-6, it would have only somewhat hidden a horrible offensive performance.

Remember that Florida easily scored on us early in the 4th quarter to put themselves up 8. After that they ran ran ran to run out the clock. If they were not playing conservative they probably could have scored again.

Great perspective. I believe its safe to say, if we'd gone undefeated and won the NC last season, then most of us probably would happily overlook our offensive deficiencies this season

Does anyone here think that Les Miles isn't doing his best to win football games??? Perhaps he's stubborn to a fault, but his resume thus far should've have earned him carte blanche for at least a while.

We may lose 3-4 games this year. That happens even with the best of programs.

My main point is that Les Miles is what he is. This offense is his, for better or worse. It's not often pretty but it's been effective for what this team wants to do, and the proof is in the results. People can't give him blame for all that goes wrong and none of the credit for the good that the team has done.

I will take Miles if we are able to challenge for the national championship every couple of years. I just want results, don't care how we get them. Don't know what more we can hope for.
