Must have been lost in my drunken fury of yesterday

Not sure we'll be able to muster the offense to beat USCe or Bama but at least we still control our own BCS destiny you'd think

West Virginia, KState will drop at least one

We will get another shot at Florida if we win out and so do they

Doubtful we can win out but it at least makes me feel better that if we do, we'll accomplish the goals we set out to achieve this year

Well, I think a different offense is going to start taking the field for this to matter. I do think we can beat every team left on our schedule possibly, except Bama right now. The way we are playing right now, there is no way we will beat them. Need to improve dramatically.

I guess we still need Notre Dame to drop one but that shouldn't be too big of a deal

Plus we only dropped to #8. We go 3-0, we'll be back.
Don't think this team is content with that loss.

This is part of the problem IMO. You cannot worry about championships, wins, conference outcomes, etc. until you play well first. What we need to concentrate on is NOT winning the SEC, the West, or even the next game, but, rather, on winning the next play.

If we can get back to that mentality everything else will start falling into place.

We have Alabama and South Carolina left to play. West Virginia, Oregon and Kansas State are all ahead of us. We don't control our own destiny yet.

Anything is possible. LSU needs a lot of breaks along the way though.

What the hell are you talking about? Control our destiny? For what - the Peach Bowl? We'll lose to USCe, Bama and will struggle with the others if we keep rolling out a high school offense. We're way too far into the season to think we can fix this offense. It is what it is, which is a disaster. Sonplease take off the rose colored glasses.

I am more concerned with whether Mett can get rid of the ball when he is about to be hit.

I am ready to go with the transfer from State Penn, a junior dual threat with mediocre numbers who is an all around football player.
Or else, the freshman also a dual threat, or McGee. Some one who can run and pass.

We need someone who will move the chains. That is it. Move the chains.

I would even rather see RS10 at wildcat than go thru one more game with Mett as QB. I dont see him waking up any time soon.
I would roll the dice. The coaches must have a feel for which of the dual threat guys could play in the big time. I hope the answer is not really no one.

Do you remember 2003? LSU lost on the road to a not so good Florida team, and looked pretty ugly in doing so. They went on a to win the NC that year.

I believe Miss State is one of the 'others'.

LSU should just try controlling 3rd down and move on from there.

If you people really think we are national championship or even BCS bowl caliber this year you are delusional. Be happy with 3 losses and the Cotton Bowl.
