and I'll be honest:
I liked diary of a mad black woman.
It was decent, I enjoyed it.
I then watched two other Tyler Perry films, both were complete shite. I've never seen the show he has, but I've heard its horrible. I'm so pissed off right now.

Would have preferred Idris Elba, but Tyler Perry might actually be ok for this.
When he is serious and not being the Madea character he has some acting chops. Its hard to seperate the Tyler Perry the actor from Tyler Perry the movie maker though
