Sitting in the Florida student section

Driving down from Tallahassee and was offered from a UF buddy a student section ticket. My question is has anyone ever sat in the visting teams student section and was still able to enjoy the game.I know obiously im going to get verbally abused 
If anyone happens to be in the same situation this weekend let me know

I tried doing that years ago in 00' against ole miss thinking I'd be fine.... I was dead wrong. I left in the 1st quarter and found a seat in the LSU section.

yeah I just found out from the ticket exchange board that LSU'section is really close to the UF student section. I might have to sneak over before the game starts

Be careful getting into the game. If you are sitting in a student section, you need a valid student ID. There is a way to convert the student ticket to a nonstudent ticket, but it needs to be done before the game. I don't think you can convert it on saturday, but I could be wrong. This is not a joke, you may be denied admission.
Also, there is no sitting in the student section, but there is plenty of standing in the student section. Also, it's obstructed site lines, cause you'll be staring at boobies instead of the game.

I'd wear a neutral color shirt (like a white polo) and just leave it at that.

yeah, he has an extra ID for me as well so hopefully i wont have a problem getting in.

This will end poorly for you, unless you are:
1. A hot female ... by OT standards.
2. An MMA heavy weight contender.
3. At least 6-6 300#
4. Former member of Seal Team 6
If none of the above, exchange the ticket.

I've seen some pretty drunken Rowdy youngens in the student section. You might be killed. I wouldn't sit there now, and I'm a UF fan.

Why can't you just enjoy the game and atmosphere without being confrontational about it? Like someone said earlier, just wear a white shirt, enjoy the game, and don't antagonize the people around you. You should be fine...unless your buddy starts telling everyone you're an LSU fan.

lol, have fun with that. Hopefully you'll get some cool students sitting near you who will stick up for you. Some Oregon fan got into our student section 2 years ago for a game and decided to wear his Oregon jersey for some reason. Poor fella, all he wanted to do was experience an SEC game/atmosphere. I stuck up for him best I could.....but he didn't return for the 2nd half
