I'll have to go with Sleepy Hollow with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci.

Good call.

Full Disclosure: Christina Ricci does something for me.

I don't know, I caught it recently and that movie has not held up well. It's pretty horrible

Prince of Darkness
The Ninth Gate
The Fog (original)
Darkness Falls ( one of the creepiest opening scenes I've ever seen. the rest of the movie doesn't carry on the brilliance, but entertaining nonetheless)
Dead Silence (dolls creep me the frick out)
Trilogy of Terror(Richard Matheson is a genius and his short story PREY with the doll "He Who Hunts" is a great segment in this movie.)
The Haunting of Hill House (under rated in today's world)
The Uninvited(1944 version)
Drag Me to Hell

Asian:
Carved
A tale of two sisters

I liked Prince of Darkness. That evil reaching through the mirror... Alice Cooper leading the zombie homeless... a did they?/didn't they? ending.

If we're going with a theme of basic "evil" - I'd like to throw Angel Heart in the mix.

I was just talking about the Halloween series on the SECr so I came over here and saw this thread. First post I saw this.
quote:

Halloween III: Season of the Witch

This is one of the worst horror movies of all time, and that is saying something for the genre. I've seen every Halloween at least 3 times, except this one. Watched it once, threw it in the fire, and paid the Movie Gallery the $7.50 for the lost VHS.

Honestly I would choose watching the following abortions over H3SotW.

Killer Clowns from Outer Space
Leprachaun in the Hood
Blair Witch 2
Exorcist 3

To each his own. In a decade filled with mindless teen slashers, I thought it was a nice change in the horror/sci-fi genre.

Trick R Treat was surprisingly good and fun. I always recommend it because it seems like only a handful of people I know have seen it.

I will have to check Trick R Treat out Belle.

I had never even heard of it, but keep seeing posts on here saying how good it was.
