Do our receivers routes take a long time to develop?

It appears to me that Mett is holding the ball a long time. He has done so since the first game againt North Texas.
Is it because the routes the receivers are running are taking a long time to develop or is he just holding the ball?
Or...Are the receivers not getting separation?

Sometimes it's just Zach looking for the big play. We constantly have RBs wide open in the flats/underneaths.

He's only throwing to 1 or 2 receivers, it's all we run.

Our receivers run slow when running routes. They don't burst off the line and get moving. They coast.

You mean everyone else is in for pass protection?

and they still have trouble blocking a three or four man rush. Not unusual to see three blocking one and miss a rusher completely.
