The Bandwagon, Spoiled South LA "Fans"

I get to work this morning, pull up Facebook as I usually do, and see my news feed littered with Paper Bag photos. Coupled with the spoiled, butthurt that I have witnessed on this site in the last few days, I have concluded the following: South Louisiana has the worst sports fans in the world. Period.
There is a Lombardi Trophy and a Banner that says "World Champs" both in the Superdome, and we actually have fans showing up with paper bags on their heads to "support" a team that has had one of the best records in the NFL for the last six years and won a freakin Super Bowl. There are threads on this site trashing the most prolific quarterback in the NFL that's coming off the greatest statistical season by a QB in history and is getting ready to break a record which is one of the biggest testaments to consistency by a quarterback.
Meanwhile, on the rant, we have an LSU team that is 5-0, but it's hard to believe with the endless stream of bullshite coming from that place. Someone actually made a comment that fans are "satisfied with only winning 10 games a year and not having a prolific offense." Meanwhile, the stadium is empty by halftime, and fans bitch about 30 point victories.
I think most people from South LA are so accustomed to mediocrity that they have no clue how to handle success. It's so much easier to be the "victim". LSU has been one of the best programs in the country in the last decade, and look at the spoiled fanbase that can't even find any pride in being 5-0. I actually find myself hoping the Saints suck this season to get rid of the bandwagon fans, because I'll be really disappointed if we are sitting here in another 4-5 years bitching about the Saints being 5-0.
And Yeah, I'm mad. And if you are a real Saints fan, you should be too.

I wouldn't say we are the worst. I'd say we are passionate and over reating and over critical. Some do actually have perspective. But I give somewhat of a pass to fans to bitch after a bad game. But some of the stupid shite is inexcusable.

This won't matter. They'll be back when the Saints are kicking arse again.
FWIW, I can admit that right now, we suck. I still find myself in front of the TV every week on edge and ebbing and flowing right along with the team.
By the time I make it back down to New Orleans for the Philly Monday game, I think we'll finally be clicking a little and teams won't be looking forward to playing us. Even at 0-4, I don't see any teams in the league that are dominant that scare me. I'm not saying we make the playoffs but I think it's realistic that come December, I'll be on the edge of my seat hoping for 8 different scenarios to play out so we can get a spot

It's funny when supposed fans knock you when "your team" is doing badly, but are just fine with it when they're winning

MJ, you're exactly right... and if you'll excuse me, i'm going to toot my own horn for a minute, because i'm not sure how many people actually saw this post i made.. here's a small sample

I agree. I personally have given up hope for this season, but the window for this team has not closed and the anger should be directed at Roger Goodell, not the team. Bunch of whiny, attention whoring children.

To think a commissioner runied a team and changed the entire course of the season for the whole league based on a whim and flimsy evidence. He should have to answer for this.
