You are on the 2. If you can't get 2 yards in 4 tries then you are garbage.
Passing has too many other variables.. Drop pass, interception, possible sack..

I was thinking the same thing. I saw a team earlier playing with two or three running backs in a screen set-up mas protect. I wonder why we don't try something like that. Keep RB's to protect the QB on blitzes and have them availible for runs or screens on plays with openings.
We have a lot of running talent, but are a pass first team always.
(though its obvious as to why)

This. I think this is where the Saints miss Payton. The offense is unbalanced,and while still good, appears just a tick off and stalls out too often - especially with this defense.

12 attempts in 3 quarters...Saints aren't even trying to run - go look at attempts in all prev games...no balance.

The yardage on 12 carries spread over 3 quarters isn't enough of an attempt to run to assess the viability of the running game....anyway, all's erased when Morgan catches one for 80.
