Large corporations must have solid results each year or they will come under heavy scrutiny. College football today is a big business and is treated as such.

If the leaders of the company are not successfully leading the company they will be replaced. It does not matter what they did in the past, they must do it again and continue to do it every year.

I appreciate everything Miles and his staffs have done but I have every right to expect the best this year and every year. If its not there, they need to be replaced. At this point, they are undefeated so its successful.

I also know that what I have seen the last two weeks is VERY poor performance. They will not be successful at the end of the season if this continues. At that point they should be treated like the leaders of any business that does not meet its objectives.

I have no problem with people expressing their displeasure with the product on the field. Consumers should make their view known. So express your opinions. However, we cant judge the final product until its done. So, we will see.

defined as profit and they don't fire their ceo's after a mediocre year; there are golden parachutes.

Coaches are judged on win-loss record and ticket sales to a lesser degree. LSU is undefeated and Tiger Stadium is still sold out. If we're talking results, he's delivering.

OP = idiot. Based on your "Large Corporation" analogy... Miles has been extremely successful - revenue UP, profits UP - results delivered.

That gets CEO's HUGE bonuses and stock options.

So, you're going to fire the CEO who gets the job done every week even if it's not exactly as imagined. It's all about the final result.

Apparently, Les Miles should have already won the National Championship, and the team should be playing the rest of the season as a victory lap to be "successful". It's amazing how one sloppy win sends a group of grown men into a full retard, overblown temper tantrum.

Are you proposing that college football programs should issue and sell stock in the team?

Or maybe you are suggesting that LSU follow the corporate business model from the past 30 years and move its plant (stadium) to Asia in order to take advantage of cheap, slave labor?

I thought that I had read somewhere here on the TR that LSU was one of the most profitable programs in the US.

Everything will be fine...we will have the 'Edge' we need in the Swamp and will come away with another W.

most of the posters were not sent into anything, they were alread retard, overblown bullies.

piratezac, i wanted your opinion on what i posted a few minutes ago to another negative post:

the secret playbook?

remember all the exciting "mad hatter" "riverboat gambler" plays of 2007?
heck, remember all of the last seven years when miles pulled out the magic?

even after 07 au when flynn connected w/ byrd w/ 4 seconds left? the negatigahs came out. the negaturds come out against one of the winningest coaches that lsu has ever had.
the negaturds don't believe in magic. they can never support miles.
Magic?...bullshite. miles is smart (very smart.)

why didn't they call on shepard again?
b/c of the GAMEPLAN which miles, etc have planned for the whole season.
Chavis used many different looks.

WHY would lsu (miles, stud and chavis) show anything to the next seven sec games?

gameplanning has become SEASON PLANNING.

lsu played to keep people healthy. they tossed the long balls when necessary.

i am soooo impressed w/ the negaturds who can stay negative, year after year after year after year...etc.
i don't know why the continue, but, it's ok b/c it brings out the REAL-tigahs.

I think Miles found a formula he liked, built a huge stable of tailbacks around it, and it's been extremely successful for him. We were still fighting a lot for respect, and when you don't have that confidence and intimidation factor of success, you have to take chances. I think Les Miles does goofy shite and he's a very unconventional guy, but to say he lucked into where he is with this program is a bit much. If he was that lucky, he'd have won the lottery a few times and be having sex with models on the reg.

So, by your reasoning, 11-2 with a BCS Bowl Bid and Miles is a goner. Good Luck with that.

So if the next coach is the same way, fire him and the next fire him, and so on until we end up like Arkansas?
