1st round draft pick 2013...

First of all, I believe the Saints turn it around and make the playoffs and possibly the Super Bowl. But let's say they continue their down spiral and get a top 3 pick in the draft. What do they do?

way to early to tell who is going to really be the highly thought of guys. I would avoid any LSU d lineman like the plague though.
Probably the best impact player out of DE, OT, WR...I wouldn't think you'd take a DB top 3...and I'm a firm believer that our secondary would get a lot better by adding pressure up front.

Trade the pick. This draft class is weak at the top IMO.
Would help trade value to have more than 1 elite QB coming out tho. Won't matter tho cuz we turning this thing around!

If we're sitting in the top ten, and it's me, I am drafting a guy like Corey Lemonier and trading Will Smith. Build around Lemonier, Hicks and Jordan. We need a culture change on defense, and that's a way to do it. Not to mention we could use the cap space.
