The thing is, he isn't a part of the 2013 class according to any recruiting insider that we have on any board. That's what makes this so strange

If he's coming then I would have to agree with GA's walking on strategy or maybe a greyshirt. It was made pretty clear after camp that he wasn't in the plans. The part that makes it all plausible, even more now with this thread, is that he hasn't even been visiting or entertaining other schools. That tells me he has something lined up because he's too talented to not be getting any attention. I hope he does go to LSU. I like the kid and believe he got sort of a raw deal in the whole noncommittable offer snafu. I wish those things were nonexistent but that's a rant for another day.

That tweet was from Alex King, a writer for SoonerScoop.com, but yet we have not heard if he actually visited and what his thoughts were on the visit, until this LSU mention on this show which is just weird

Greyshirt only possible way, unless there are some attrition candidates…. no room, even with a guy that CLEARLY wants to be part of LSU, we have other priorities and not enough 'ships….

sucks, because i'm pretty much always on the side of "take" any guy that bleeds purple and gold as much as this kid, but with some HUGE fish out there still, i can't see him getting a schollie THIS SEASON….

now if he pays his way, waits for his shot, he could be on scholarship next season or the season after that….. personally, i'd love to have him, just because of the passion he has for the program, which will definitely shine through through his play on the field for us…. any other year, it's a no brainer, but unfortunately, the numbers aren't in his favor as of right now…. stay tuned, though, may be a twist in the near future in another prospect's recruitment….
