Assuming we take care of business in the Swamp, we could be looking at a #3 v. #5 matchup against the Gamecocks. I don't see any other game that day anywhere close to this war.

I doubt they come on the 13th when they know they'll be here on Nov 3rd

Sorry about that, I meant the 13th. It will be the premier match-up that weekend. Its conceivable gameday could be here on the 13th and again on November 3rd. Fairly good national exposure.

Texas-Oklahoma has lost some of its luster, but I could also see them going there on the 13th if Texas gets by West Virginia. They haven't been to a Big 12 game yet. South Carolina also has to play Georgia the week before they come to BR.

So the question becomes does Gameday go to the Swamp or the Georgia/South Carolina game?

I doubt they come for the Bama game. I think Gameday goes to the Oregon/USC game instead. It's on ABC, and I know Gameday has come for CBS games before, but I just have a gut feeling ESPN spends that morning shoving the PAC 12 down everyone's throats.

Especially after the BCS game last year

Now that I look at it, West Virginia's first Big 12 road game @ Texas could be a good site next week. That would make LSU-Carolina more likely the following week if both teams are unbeaten. They've already covered Florida twice, even though both road games, so I didn't think they'd go to the UF-LSU game.

actually it does. The guy who oversees the placement of gameday is on CFB daily every week. And every week he states they try to avoid going to the same school in a short period of time.

Not a chance if both teams are unbeaten.

Guess that depends on if one of them loses (again, for USC) before then.

Do you know what the Red River Rivalry is?

And do you know the last time ESPN didn't set up shop there? When Oklahoma and Texas are both fighting for winning seasons, they WILL be at that game. Unless its #1 vs #2 somewhere else in the country, ESPN will be in Texas.
