One announcer was bragging on the Stanford front seven, saying it was just as good as Bama's or LSU's. The other said LSU has more athleticism, citing Mingo and Montgomery. The first guy says Stanford is just as athletic.

Five minutes later Washington is gashing them on the ground and the second announcer starts needling the first pencil-dick. He won't give ground, though, and says Stanford's front seven is the best in the country. About this time Washington is dancing in the end zone.

People get stuck in what they believe and refuse to change it until absolutely proven otherwise. It's par for the course. He's basing Stanford's front 7 prowess on gashing 2 bad O lines in USC and Washington. LSU gashed Washington's OL as well. Stanford's front 7 is good but athletically it doesn't compare to any of the top SEC front 7s. That's to be expected though with their limitations academically.

They (stan front 7) did beat price up like a rented mule tonight, but nobody will remember that because they lost.
