I wonder though with the short week which side of the ball is going to be lagging the most.. common sense says defense

Buff +4 vs NE
Cincy -2.5 @ JAX

These are my initial leans now. That under in the baltimore game looks pretty solid.

ETA: dcrews: Has he? He has 8 TDs and 3 INTs.

Is Spiller going to be back? I forgot about his injury.

ETA2: ATL -7 at home vs Carolina is tempting. They seem to be the team to beat in the NFC South this year. Their defense is better than I thought it'd be.

He will probably miss at least 1 game. However, FJax is supposed to be back Sunday.

I heard a stat on the radio, haven't had time to research it at work. I think it may have included a few games at the end of last season as well.

No one is topping Vick in that category though

I like Atlanta a lot at home.

Saw a stat earlier that if you bet 100 on all the underdogs ML last week in the NFL you woulda been up $965.

Oh ok. I'll keep an eye on this game. Only concern is that they haven't really beaten anybody that good (KC, Cle).

Screwd: He hasn't had outrageous numbers mainly because their running game has been blowing it up.

There's this little feeling down in my belly telling me to bet Carolina ML.

I may lay off the NFL this weekend if the regular refs are back on the job. No telling how skewed the outcome of the first 3 weeks were because of the shitty replacement refs.

My YTD NFL record is 10-7.

W1: 3-3
W2: 4-2
W3: 3-2 (I'm not counting my GB -3 bet)

I refuse to count my GB -3 bet as a loss. In fact, I should be 11-7 right now; coming off two 4-2 Sunday's BTB.

4 games in 18 days will take it's toll on any team.

So you're saying they have more rest then ;)

12 points is a lot for any NFL team.
