“Obviously we have to do a great job of getting a lot of guys to him and then get him on the ground. Put some hot sauce on him, if you will,” Ryan said.

quote:

“I guess he was doing his thing for a quarter or two,” Pace said, via Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. “We had to put him on out. We didn’t see him again.”

quote:

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the NFL isn’t expected to offer any discipline as a result of Pace’s comments, ill-advised as they might have been.

Didn't Bart Scott put hot sauce on his ankles in 2006?

Goddell won't be the NFL commissioner next year. He is digging himself so deep in this stuff that he won't be able to crawl out

Suspend Bart Scott for 6 games, Pace for the year,

Kinda my question, so A guy admits they took him out, yet Godell is gonna do nothing? This league is a circus right now.

I would love to see the interview transcript between Pace and Mehta. I have a feeling it was taken out of context.

But I thought that the whole bounty situation was due to player safety and the intent to injure to knock players out of games?

Did you see the hit or even read the article?

TigerBait, surely the media wouldn't do it to get their reports read huh?

If we're going to play that game, then can you please link me to a video showing all the hits that the Saints put on players with clear intent to injure? Surely there must be tons for our franchise alone to receive such unprecedented punishments.

Not to mention Ryan did the same thing back in 06 and 07 when bush played for the saints..

So a team that admits to successfully knocking a guy out is cool but a team who was supposedly possibly trying to knock a guy out gets raped.... Just don't put. 0000001 percent of a a guys salary on it..... Allegedly

Video 1 Video 2 If you just go to youtube and type saints bounty you can look at all the videos you want, the intent to injure part is subjective. It is clear that hit was not meant to "put Bush on out." Like I said I would love to see the interview transcript to see if it was taken out of context. On other hands there is a sworn affidavit saying an pay for injury system was in place in New Orleans. Williams
