No, I signed him almost 1st thing into my career, needed another someone up front with Suarez.

Also, just had a news report come onto the home page that Cameroon is interested in me as a manager. No offer yet, but maybe I'm getting close already?

it's also hard as frick to clear, and since your defenders have shite touch, it's REALLY frickING EASY for offensive players to steal the ball and shoot

this is happening all the time. right now, i think this game is way worse than FIFA 12. they tried this first touch shite to make it more realistic, but they overdid it. after all, this is a fricking video game. i dont want my players to frick up when i didnt do anything wrong.

adjusting long passes/clearances for accuracy would have been a better way to go about it

The game is awesome. Build up play is finally realistic.

Is that a good thing? 6 min halves aren't exactly a lot of time to score a realistic goal.

(honestly asking, I'm a FIFA noob, took me about 6 games to win one on the demo on professional diff without it being penalties)

It's a very good thing if you're good at the game. (not trying to be a dick).

Yes. For what it's worth, I completely agree with Beast, I think it plays great.

My biggest problem is when controlling the entire team i am absolutely horrible at defense.. I usually just switch control to my striker (least amount of defensive responsibility), sit up front, and wait on the ai to make an interception/steal etc...

Any tips from you FIFA-holics?

Has anyone been offered an international team to manage yet? Thought I read it's something you have to earn as you prestige up.

Just got one.

I kind of do the same thing, but I control an off ball defender to try to get the interception manually, and let the computer defend

use a lot of LT to jockey and stay in front of the ball. a lot of people call 2nd defenders. a lot of people use B to tackle. i do neither and just stay in front of the ball and not dive in (just like real soccer). wait until the ball is there and just kinda run into it.

just to help ya out, if you ever play against people in real life and do what you just described, it will not go over well. i would probably kick you out of my apartment

never? I think there's a saying that goes practice makes perfect.. and seeing as I've only played about 1 or 2 seasons worth of games in my life I've probably got some room to improve.

I got a message from my agent saying that I will probably get an offer from Colombia or the U.S. soon.

You will improve. But letting the comp play defense is pretty cheap (just letting you know if you ever play someone).
