shite...my browser in a piece of shite. i typed up a long question and it disappeared.
I'm overseas. Can get US IP address, but need username & password. Can I get one from someone in the US who has ESPN? What username & PW do I need to get from them (their cable service provider website name & PW, or a different one that their cable service provider will give them)?
I still haven't watched teh LSU/Idaho game

I don't think it will work. I've had problems using my own name at a different location. I think they can tell if your internet doesn't match or something.

It used to be that you had to have one of several ISPs to use it. Not sure if that is the case anymore.

I have not been able to log on using my Time Warner acct... after talking to about 4 diff people at TW on various occasions,I was given a username and password ..they told me it is a GENERIC user and pass. I will try it tonight and see if it works. I do not have it with me now, or I would share it with you. I finally called the 800 number and talked to a supervisor. and SPECIFICALLY said ESPN3 instead of my acct info.

It absolutely works, but you still need a working login from a cable provider with espn3.

I was in Europe last November and when I tried to get in I couldn't. I called ESPN and they said it won't work outside of the US due to contract limitations or some shite like that.

yeah but you can use proxy programs that make it appear you are in the US. they won't tell you that.
