New to Deer hunting, looking for a good knife set that has everything for field dressing. Can I get a kit with everything, or should I buy separately? I was told make sure I get a good hacksaw.
Is this any good?

The only things you will use is the knife and saw.
Save your cash and use your own knife and jsut get the saw for $15

Agreed.
All you need is a good drop point blade and a saw (or hand ax) to cut through the pelvis. You can even get by with just the knife.

I cant find the saw I use on Cabelas anymore, but I use a larger bone saw. it is double sided, one fine tooth for bone and the other side courser for wood or whatever. Metal handles that fold over the blade partially to fit into the sheath. I'll have to see if it has a brand marking when I get home.
For a knife, the best thing is a utility knife with disposable razor blades.

That kit is great... I got one as a gift a long time ago. But as others have said, you really only need the knife and the saw. The carrying case is nice but you can get your own case and put the stuff you need in there. The Gerber Gator is a really good skinning knife, very easy to touch up. Just keep a steel with you and touch up the blade.

A good knife with a gut hook and a meat saw will do everything
