I was very impressed with Jeremy Hill in the Idaho game. His balance, size, speed, pad level seem to be a very unique package. He carries his weight very well and seems to be the most natural running back since Cecil Collins talent wise.

How about we let him get a few more touches first.

Too early to say.
But I was encouraged by what I saw in the spring and in fall camp.

He ran against Idaho late in the 4th quarter. People need to calm down.

I'll reserve judgement till after the Bama game to let you know how good he is.

The guy had like 10 carries in the 4th quarter of a 49 point win against Idaho...lets give him a few more touches first maybe...

I said on pure talent alone. I am completely aware that we were playing a particular team from Moscow. He just looks that much more talented than all the past running backs since Cecil Collins. Just on pure talent alone.

The talent is def. there. That is about all you will get out of his reps against Idaho in the 4th qtr.
Not ready to proclaim anything other than it is obvious he CAN be a great back for LSU.
Is he there already? Will he 100% for sure get to that point? Is he the best back currently on the roster? all those questions cannot be answered at this point in time.

Holy shite...how do you people dream this stuff up?

It seems like every year this thread is started. First it was with Ware, then Hilliard, and now Hill.

Cecil Collins was an amazing talent.. Best runner I've seen in an LSU uniform. To bad he was a pervert...

Way to early to say especialy the level of team we played against.

Part of Cecil's legacy is that we saw little of it. It was a burst of something very special that ended far too quickly. Sort of like how JFK and the Beatles legends.

i have never seen a player get more hype from 50 yards rushing in mop up duty against a team like idaho. people really need to pump the brakes with this kid. cecil collins ran wild against a good state defense at the time, and auburn. and then he started for the dolphins after playing in 3 career college football games. let's let hill play a little more.
