tie breaker aside, I see all teams being 1-2

Falcons lose tonight to Denver and At San Diego next week, at best they split 1-1

Carolina loses to the Giants

Bucs lose at Dallas

Saints win and we could be tied for first after this horrendous start

not time to hit the panic button yet fellas

It's pretty obvious that unless we have an insane turn around we won't be in play for home field but we just gotta stay on path with the failcons and whip their arse twice

If we start playing better defense and eliminate the drops and INTs on offense, the record will take care of itself.

On offense, you can still see flashes of it, you can have the confidence we can get back there.

On defense though, i dont see much of anything to hang my hat on. Its just flat ugly.

There's a real possibility this happens. I'm not panicking. With a new defense and new coaching arrangement, there was going to be an adjustment period. Hopefully that period is over. How fast a fan base becomes spoiled brats...

The optimism from you guys is shocking! I am not normally one to give up so soon, but look at the facts. This is the worst defense in football. Period! The Saints defense gets almost no pressure on opposing qb's. Contrast this with the constant pressure Brees has had in both games. It is a stark contrast. This team can only win if the offense scores 40 points. This will happen a few times, but they will be lucky to finish 8-8.

Tied for first doesn't help when you give up 460 plus yards a game...We will beat a game managing qb, but a mobile qb or tactician will hang 40 on us anyday...Games are on the schedule to be played so anything can happen...Its just really depressing to watch...I keep hoping...We will see. Hoping something clicks or turns around...First drive had me thinking we were back on track...but...We weren't...Get the win on KC and lets see if that gives us a spark...I just don't want Brees to get hurt and looking at that replay of his leg...About gave me chest pains...

Based on the record, I agree.

Based on the play on the field and a reasonable opinion on the magnitude and number of issues we have? I disagree.

Even if the Falcons win tonight and we go 2 back from them, we play them twice and can make those two games up regardless.

Big game next weekend!
