Take the caps lock off. And there is a thread on the MSB discussing the game, you can check there for commentary. As yet, no highlights have been posted.

It would have been a game changer for either team. If the whistle wouldn't have blown the Rummel would have likely recovered the the kick. People can talk all they want about momentum and all that, but Rummel dominated. Aug's only scores (outside of garbage time) were a 60 yd td by Fournette and about a 15 yard drive for a td after a fumble on a kickoff by Rummel. The onside kick is being blown way out of proportion.

Whistle from stands

Whistle from stands 2

2nd paragraph

Also, I saw the side line referee on the St. Aug side still running to his position for the kick off after Rummel had kicked the ball. Maybe a ref did blow the whistle bc of the one out of position. Just bc the refs say they didn't blow it doesn't mean they didn't.

Oh yeah... and this is all moot.

Highlights

Rummel played lights out... That's what an established club is supposed to do against a re-established one... Especially early in the season... We had over 300yds of offense, but too many penalty yrds... You don't give a high potent offense a short field most of the game... Anyway, what's done is done... Hopefully Jay Roth can finally get that ring after 18 yrs on the job... Would be an embarrassment if Crutch can do it again in significantly less time

Was your point of the highlights to show the onside kick part or the whole game?

And sorry maybe the ref wasnt running after the kick happened but he was running on late.

Also, the fake punt called back was the right call.

Could have sworn 504 Soulja asked to see the highlights...

We ran the same play in '10 playoffs against Ouachita... The refs must have missed that one

Whoever does the highlight films does a really great job.

St. Aug gets a lot a great athletes and they are HUGE! I wouldn't be surprised if Aug got one before Roth. With that talent it is just a matter of time.

Appreciate that... I'll pass the word...

I like Roth's chances... I'm hoping Damien Williams can get healthy enough so his squad can make a run... Most of those kids are 4yr starters...
