Boardwalk Empire Season 3 Premiere, Episode 1: Resolution

Yeah, I'm starting a little early.
Description for tonight's episode:

Where we left off in Season 2:

Nucky had just offed longtime rival and longertime surrogate son Jimmy Darmody; Commodore Kaestner had been killed (by his not-so-surrogate son Jimmy Darmody); Nucky's brother Eli, the sheriff, was placed back firmly back in the treasurer's pocket; new land deals were being made to expand Nucky's control and distribution of alcohol; Det. Van Alden had high-tailed it to Illinois after undergoing some personal and professional difficulties. Additionally, Margaret had explored an extramarital affair with Owen Selater; afterwards, opted to sign some of her and Nucky's property over to the church as a means of seeking forgiveness.

I think I'm most intrigued by what will happen with Van Alden. Obviously we know he's running from a murder charge after killing his partner in the river in front of all those church folks and has taken his kid and kid's nanny with him.
I don't know how many people noticed but he's in Cicero, Illinois. Cicero in the 20's was a big Chicago gang town, specifically for the Capone family.

I actually think the Priest in cahoots with Nucky. Right before she came to him with the money the first time around, they show him drinking some of that Irish Whiskey they brought back from Ireland and he hurries to hide it behind a bouquet of flowers before Margaret comes in. I think she signed it over to him and he's just going to turn right back around and sign it back over to Nucky.
