Tv networks don't want to air crap games.
Schools can't make money unless you go to the games.
If given the choice to watch crap game at home or go to the game. Most choose home.

It just depends on whether they sale out or not. They just don't want to give people the tv option instead of goin to the game. I just spoke to Directv and they confirmed this, but didn't know if they sold out or not.
