Leaving at halftime.....players dig it

a lot of tiger fans bitch about the fans leaving at halftime. Just to let you know that, in 2006, it was a goal for our team to "make the fans leave at halftime". At least, that's what one player told me.

Glad it's the teams goal to throttle opponents, but still don't think that it reflects well on our fan base that the bar is more important. I must admit that I was guilty of it on a number of occasions in college

I plan on leaving after the first quarter to beat the halftime traffic.

fan police are just the worst....Look if LSU is going to schedule these dogshit opponents for the sake of cashing in on a home game well people are going to leave early, these games are uninteresting.
Now if you want to bitch about people leaving games early that are still in doubt, I'll agree that's shitty. But sitting through an entire game of watching us skull frick the likes of Idaho and Towson doesn't make you a better fan.

I personally don't understand leaving an LSU Game early. Why? You have obviously scheduled to be at the game for 3:30 hours going in to it. Don't you want to see the younger players perform and support them when we are way ahead. Is it torture to see LSU win by 40 or more points. I really don't get it. It is certainly anyone's option to leave whenever they want. My question is why even bother to show up against inferior teams if you aren't going to stay after we get way ahead. And yes I do think that the people that stay for the duration are better Tiger Fans. Just one Tiger fans opinion.
