The ATL Thread 9/10: Braves @ Brew Crew

After sweeping the first three games of this six game road trip and winning seven of the last eight, the Braves now are in Milwaukee to face the Brew Crew. I like where we are sitting right now. 5 1/2 games behind the Nats (who are in NY to play the Mets) and 5 1/2 games up on the Cards, and 7 games up on the Dodgers as they try to squeeze into the 2nd wildcard slot. At worst, hopefully we can keep our big lead in the wildcard going into the final week so we can sort our rotation however Fredi and Frank please. At best, we can keep on winning and at least make the Nats sweat a little bit. We play them this upcoming weekend so this is a big week for us.

Tomorrow - Huddy vs RH Marco Estrada
Wednesday - Maholm vs RH Yovani Gallardo

Wish I could get to any game of this series, but don't think I have time.
Read an interesting piece on the long shot 2nd wild cards. Milwaukee, Philly, Zona all still in play (though all unlikely).
