Thoroughly enjoyed Nessler/Blacklidge call tonite...and not just because of game results. They are classy respectful and have good insight...wish they called more LSU games...less BS and agenda pushing imho...

I enjoy them too.

People around here hate Gary Danielson but I find he's really insightful most of the time. I guess that's kind of a side-note.

Gary Danielson is way better than people give him credit for. He knows a lot about football. But the guys tonight did a good job.

+1 Agreed they kinda just tell it how it is, they don't try to claim the champion at the beginning of the season.

Danielson's ok but a bit whiney sometimes...if I never hear Verne's voice again it will be too soon...

I like Danielson too. His analysis is usually spot on.

Gus Johnson was fantastic doing the UCLA Nebraska game. Charles Davis not so much. Gus was is fantastic self just like the NCAA basketball tournament games when he worked for CBS.

Todd and Brad Nessler are certainly two of the best and enjoyed their call tonight and hopefully get them again on some ESPN night games.

Musberger.

I must have him so in each game I can lock down who Brady Quinn is dating.

Blackledge was a quality color analyst when he was with CBS and has only gotten better as a member of the ESPN team. I always enjoy when Blackledge is a part of the crew calling an LSU game.

WHats that shite Blackledge ate at walk ons when he was in town for the 2007 AU game? Something like blackened redfish on a bed of rice and smothered in crawfish ettouffee. Looked sooooo good.

I have to admit that they did a spot on job. But they were throwing love at LSU like beads at Mardi Gras.

It was nice to have ones who were knowledgable of each team. Not like the morons who seem to be sent to the game last minute as a fill in and act like they know something about the teams. Then wind up saying things that really aren't acurate.

They were definately better than Ron Franklin.
