Checked the recipe thread and didn't find one. I'd like to use fresh produce. I'll use the majority of it to top some pulled pork sliders. TIA

German Style Slaw

1 cup canola
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 T Tony's
1 large red onion, sliced thin
1 large head of cabbage, sliced. Thin

Heat the oil, vinegar, sugar and Tony's to a simmer. Pour over the onion and cabbage...best after a few hours. Re season with salt and pepper to taste.

That is basically mine, but I use less mayo, and a little less onion. I use a splash of milk and whip it into the mayo to loosen up prior to coating..and I use one pack of splenda instead of sugar. Good stuff

Whatever recipe you go with, add some diced apples to it. You'll thank me later.

I love it on a Hebrew National with a pickle spear and a little BBQ sauce.

This is Emeril's recipe and it's the only one you need.

Maw Maw's slaw

I make this all the time and it's great, especially if you make you own mayonaise. Great to top off pulled pork sandwiches on King's Hawaiian buns.
