Remind me not to ever listen to an idiot like Dave Lombardo who doesn't recognize the Black album for being one of the greatest hard rock/metal albums ever. The correct answer to this question is John Bonham. The drums on "Fool In The Rain" alone are legendary.

Good call. Not the greatest drummer EVER but he's a great drummer despite posing his arm. Def Leppard's drummer is an inspiration and the very definition of perserverence.

That was Metallicas 5th best album. Just ask any pure Metallica fan. Plus Bonham was a hard rock drummer. Just dumb!
