Not a Huskie, but is there a place for visiting fans from out of state to tailgate with LSU fans? My wife is a LSU Tiger by marriage and a Seminole by education. We live in Atlanta and this will be her 1st game and my 2nd. She got me tickets as a birthday present. We're coming down for the USCe game. I want her to have the full LSU experience.

Thanks for any info you may have.

glad to see you guys coming down...my whole tailgate group agreed last weekend that the game in Seattle a couple of years ago was one of the most enjoyable venues that we had ever been to...hope you enjoy your trip...

fwiw, wear the coolest clothing you can find as it is not gonna be nearly the same climate as what you are used to....

Sadly I'm coming from DC. When I was in Nola earlier in the summer it was actually cooler and less muggy in Louisiana.

I'm glad you had such a good time when you visited though. We can't hang with you guys on pure insanity and numbers, but we do a pretty unique thing up in our neck of the woods, and if you aren't a Duck/Coug/Trojan we'll treat you well.

I know a couple, or at least one DC Husky coming down for the game, a female in fact.

The weather is actually supposed to be pretty decent this weekend as a cool spell is coming through.

As long as you don't come looking for trouble you'll have a great time.

I'd be really surprised if any of our fans come with that kind of mindset. Our home game have knuckleheads like any fanbase, but we have a pretty good traveling reputation, especially for non-conference games like this. I'm looking for cold beer, hot food, and fun conversation about a mutual disgust for Alabama and Oregon. Shouldn't be too hard to come by.

I'm not at all implying your fans would, I'm just saying it as a rule of thumb.

Husky football fans are good folks to begin with and anyone who would prioritize their money and time to make this trip is unlikely to be a degenerate, IMO.

I'm pissed I can't make this game. I live 5 miles from LSU's campus, have season tickets and family connections to UW. Hell, I even got admitted to place and almost went there.

Have a great time

I'll be bringing a bunch of Huskies from NYC down.

Seattle was one of the most unique tailgating experiences ever. Looking fwd to repaying the favor.
