.....and did he run into the stands? did he break the running lane open?

in the end it doesnt matter if its acl or mcl he is done.

It depends on how much damage. If it's an cal he's probably done because even a slight tear probably won't heal on its own. A badly torn mcl would put him out for several months. If the mcl is just strained and slightly torn I'd look for him back at practice in 5 or 6 weeks. BTW, I'm no doctor, nor much of an athlete, but I've had acl, mcl, and meniscus operations.

But losing Faulk still is bad news

very bad news...people are underestimating the impact of him...everyone thinks lsu is loaded, but he was our best...maybe by far....hurst has not looked good at other OT...now Faulk out....dammit.

Bad news but definitely not as big as you all are making it out to be. LSU once won a NC with Carnell Stewart at Tackle. LSU has experience and talent.

I know you have to live in the NOW ,but this is good for us next year. We get some younger guys experience for the future. Faulk likely comes back in good shape.

Looks like this is gonna be a year where a handful of our best players go down injured.

At least we can blame losing to bama on injuries this season. We didnt have any excuse this past january
