I'm looking to buy a new set of Turtle Beaches

I currently have the X1 headset which has been discontinued and replaced with the X12 headset. Well. I stepped on the wire while getting up one too many times and the left ear speaker no longer works. The discontinued X1 and the replacement X12 are wired amplified stereo sound headsets.
As the title states, I am looking for a new pair. I am currently looking at these two, which are equally priced at $100:
The DXL1, which is wired Dolby surround sound
and
The X32, which appears to be the wireless version of the aforementioned X12 headset.
I would like to hear your comments and thoughts on each of the headsets. The X1s were the first and only gaming headset that I've ever used, so thats why I planned on going with another set ot TBs. If you are aware of a better gaming headest for about the same price, please feel free to suggest it. And finally, I planned on buying these from amazon.com, but if you know of where they can be purchased cheaper, feel free to let that info out as well.

Find a pair of x41s on eBay. They're 7.1 wireless surround and usually go for ~$60

I got the x32's when they came out. I've been satisfied. The sound is slightly improved from the older generation of the same models.

Those are only stereo, not surround which makes gaming far more awesome

I'm looking at some turtle beaches, but a friend of mine told me that they may give headaches if you use them for long periods of time.
I plan more to use them to listen to movies off my xbox than any gaming advantage. Should I look into another alternative?
