The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office advises that LA 1 south of Valentine and Hwy 308 south of Lockport remain closed due to debris and road hazards.  Hwy 24 between Bourg and Larose is open.  However, extreme caution is advised due to water remaining on the roadway.

LA 1 south of the Leon Theriot Floodgates in Golden Meadow is now accessible.  Port Tenants’ Assessment Teams and essential personnel can now begin entering into Port Fourchon.  Please be advised that there is a dusk to dawn curfew in the Port.  Once you arrive, you must remain in place, unless leaving.  Full recovery personnel can enter the Port beginning at 0600 hrs tomorrow morning.

Be aware, there is no power in Port Fourchon at this time.  Also there are no gas stations or restaurants currently open.

The NOAA and the NRT-4 Survey Team have begun conducting the survey of Belle Pass.
