Would I-55 be affected at all by this?

I am curious about this too because my dad is in the hospital in McComb right now and I am thinking about trying to drive there from Lafayette.

Well, a major evacuation has just been ordered for all low lying areas near the river. Is I-55 low enough in any area close to the river to be affected badly enough to have it shut down?

I could be wrong, but unless my knowledge of geography of the parish fails me: it doesn't come close to I-55 at all. Or at least, not close enough to really expect an impact.

The parish? I was referring to I-55 near the state park and the immediate area below it in Missississississippi.

That's all in that land mass.

No one cares what happens there.

Everything ok here in Biloxi, Landmass. I know you were concerned and wondering.
