Welcome back to week 3 of the 2012/13 EPL Survivor Contest, the “we will not be moved by a hurricane” version. After the first week of eliminations, several people are already dipping into the mulligan well. But, before we get to that, I need to do some house keeping. There was discussion in last week’s thread about whether the deadline to pick a match should be before the first game of the weekend or before the kickoff of the first game each day. I went back and forth on the issue and have decided to leave it the way we’ve been doing it and allow people to make selections up until kickoff of the first match on Sunday (or Monday if there happens to be a match that day). Generally, there are fewer matches on Sunday so as the season progresses and teams are used up, the competitive advantage of waiting to pick a match until after Saturday will dissolve. Also, I’ve decided that people who chose Sunderland last week will be given a free pass through to this week without it affecting their mulligan (if they have one). However, Sunderland has now been used for them and may not be used again during the contest. The rest of the rules will remain the same as well and are as follows:

- Select a team from the matches listed each week.
- Home wins and away draws secure survival until the next week.
- Each team may only be selected once in the competition (not including the mulligan competition in week 1). Once a team is used, it will not be available to you again during the competition.
- Selections must be made by the specified time in each week’s thread.

I'm sorry I didn't read the rules and picked man city by mistake. Since I chose them week 1 I am going with the popular pick of the week and FULHAM.

You can still pick them. The only team you can't pick is Tottenham
