Dustin Lynch - Cowboys and Angels

A truly excellent song. I hope he keeps it up.

It's a shame some people think the radio is the only thing to listen to when it comes to country music.

That's aight. But there is always hope for country music. All the execs need is a little convincing to take some pop out of the country. The talent is out there.

Pretty good song. I can dig it. Never will be my favorite but it's in a whole different league than rascal figs or taylor swift.

ETA: Same guy also has songs called "she cranks my tractor" and "me and my truck"

But even the most bonafide country singers have belted out some cheesy pop tunes at some point or another.

You just have to take the good with the bad. Even in the 90's, not everything that was being put out was solid country gold.

As bonafide and legendary as Dunn is, B&D came out with stuff like Hillbilly Deluxe. But you have to ignore it and soak in solid country gold like She USed To Be Mine, Neon Moon, and That Ain't No Way To Go.

And then sold it immediately. Dude needed money to support his actual song writing.

Cruising down the lake road, blasting my country sound, Louisiana-and I got my windows down.

I love 90s country, but even in the 90s I recall people always bitching about how it was too pop and not country enough.
