In the SI preview, they have Bama and LSU at 7-1, with Bama winning head to head. If this is the case, who besides LSU is going to take down Bama?

All these pundits can go and suck a d*ck. Having avidly followed college football for two decades, I have grown weary of the expanding cavalcade of preseason media speculation. Just play the games.

P.S. I'm f*cking tired of hearing about Bama's dominance.

well, I hate to beat a dead horse, but they have won 1 SEC championship over the past 12 years...so they have earned the dominant reputation.

*chest bump*

That's all it is anymore. Who's going to win this and who's going to beat who and how many yards so-and-so is going to pass for. I don't give two shits about any of that. I'll watch the damn games and find out who wins. Tell me something insightful that I don't already know, like what matchups to watch or something that will contribute to my enjoyment of the game.

Good Lord. Get over it. It's one guy's, publication's, etc. opinion. Does it really make a difference whether someone picked Alabama to beat LSU or vice versa? Last time I checked they're still going to play the games and there will be tangible results (i.e. the score) to determine who won or lost?

Call me crazy, but I think Bama loses to either Arky or Mizzou bf LSU beats them...I also had Tennessee playing them close till the Rogers news broke

Well I like all the preseason poll and season poll talk and stat predictions. I guess because i'm a fantasy football guy none of the prediction and rank stuff bothers me. It's just people having a regular discussion over football except they get paid to voice their opinion(or script for the conspiracy theorists)

Personally I like to watch, read, and listen to all the different anaylist pics. The pre-season polls are nothing more than someones opinion and if you are seriously offended than don't pay attention. Besides its better them talking about baseball this time of year.

I'm not offended. It's just that there isn't any useful information in those predictions so I don't waste my time listening to them. The only thing that annoys me is that it's airtime that could be used for something more productive.
