Being that its about 10 miles from where I live I was thinking I might try this out for a deal on an ice chest. Anyone ever been there? and if so was the selection decent and prices any less?

there is one just west of katy about 5 miles from me. Twice a year they run a sale, this is the time to go, otherwise you will pay about the same price or even more than going to your local walmart/bass pro/academy and buying them.

I am 50/50 on the Extremes right now. My large 100qt is really nice. the smaller one I have that we use for my daughters softballs games I am dissapointed in, the top doesn't have any insulation in it. Runs thru ice pretty quick.

I have 2 and one we use pretty much for the boat, keeps ice very well. But I have had to buy the 10.00 kit from Academy to put new hinges on the igloo i have.

Went by Costco at lunch, they have the 110qt glide and the 165 maxcool ultra for about $85 each, probably going to do one of those. The glide has all metal hinges
