He was one of the few bright spots on defense. He was getting good penetration. I downloaded the game but I've yet to rewatch. I'm not sure if I will.

I thought he looked very impressive. Got a lot of good penetration, held his spot against double teams and allwoed LBs to flow to ball. Very impressive 2nd game.

Did he get to play with the ones or was this in the 3rd and 4th quarter?

So, based on two games so far it looks like we got a steal then? I sure do hope he pans out. We need a dominant big in the middle.

Hicks would appear to play like a beast next to bunkley.

He was defintely in w/ the 2s. He is clearly in the regular DL rotation at this point.

I wonder how good he would have been had he gone to LSU.

Probably 1st round type stuff. He obviously responds to coaching, so with LSU caliber coaching, he would have been a Brockers type pick, IMO.

If he had gone to LSU, the Saints couldn't have drafted him.

it's still more hope than reality but the idea that this guy could be the next high impact player out of nowhere is growing on me by each game.

Cherish the golden era brahs, cynicism turned to hope, hope turned to fulfillment, fulfillment turned to expectation. We fully expect these kinda success stories now.

Anyway, Hicks might be this draft's Jimmy Graham.

If Hicks could have stayed; Brockers would still be a Tiger.

I've been impressed by this guy so far. For somebody so raw, he sure is showing a lot of ability...
