Announcing pet peeve: "Missed tackles"

Am I the only one that gets upset when any announcer (not just during a Saints/LSU game) calls a blocked defender putting one hand on the ball carrier, and sometimes not even one hand, and not making a tackle a "missed tackle" ?
Defenders in most blocked situations don't have the chance to make a tackle. They called 5 missed tackles when some of those situations weren't even real tackle opportunities. (That said, clearly a bad missed tackle on Blackmon.)
The correct observation on a lot of those run plays in that first drive was that our defenders weren't getting in any position to make a play and weren't getting off blocks well. (With just a couple of real "missed tackles" to boot.)

No doubt there were a couple of legit ones. But the announcing centerpiece of that drive was the replay where Wilcox counts out missed tackles, including guys that were being blocked out and at best could only get one hand on the defender.
And I am not getting on Wilcox alone for that observation, calling a blocked out player not making a tackle a "missed tackle" is par for the course in announcing circles these days. Maybe I'm the only one that finds it sensational announcing?
