Outside of Mettenberger, is OBJ3 the most important player on the team?

Eric Reid, IMO. Need leadership in a young secondary. If Mett is as good ad the rant thinks he is, one WR won't be as important as the other.

Tharold???

In all seriousness, it's Simon and Reid, especially with how young the backfield is.

I'd say Brad Wing. His ability to pin teams deep in their own territory is huge.

OBJ3 is also our punt returner this year now that TM7 is suspended.

So if OBJ goes down, we lose our #1 WR and punt returner...Which receiver do we have proven that can fill his shoes? Hmmmmm

if he gets hurt, it will be bad news...real bad

No, I believe we have plenty of athletes at WR they just haven't been able to showcase it yet, plus we just went through 4 years of not being able to use our WR's so we know we can win with minimal production, I expect more than minimal now.

Mettenberger and Eric Reid are now the 2 most important. Eric Reid has to manage a lot of new guys in the secondary and it wasn't that long ago he was the new guy.

This is why I wish Shep would return punts.
