No menu on the website. Has anyone tried this? Any good? It seems like it might be the only decent place at the new casino for people who go for quality over quantity but how can you tell without a menu?

Don't even think the casino is open yet. I believe they have some soft opening maybe Thursday or something.

Maybe that's why. The website has hours and a dessert/wine menu up, however.

The casino looks pretty awesome to me. I stay away at the other ones here but will probably go to this one.

I haven't been to a local casin in 15 years but I might make an exception for this one. But I don't want to be the first to try the steakhouse.

The casino opens Aug 29th.

From what I'm being told, it will have prime cuts .. almost everything sourced locally.. everything made in house all the way down to burger condiments.. an herb garden on the property for this restaurant to use.. etc.

Nah, I don't think so. The friends and family weekend is next weekend though.

They have something coming up on some Thursday pretty soon. I've seen the invitation with the dice and stuff. Must have spent a fortune on these invitations. Maybe not a "soft opening" but some type of party/opening thing.

Oh that might just be an event once it's opened up. Everyone is still in training right now. Just finished week 1 of it.

Maybe so. The impression I got was that it's before the opening.

If something is going on next Thursday, it's with some other department that has nothing to do with the actual casino area (a restaurant.. private event..).

No one is working in the casino before it opens except for on the family and friends night.

And the price will probably be around $45 a steak. Sorry, I don't eat at casinos unless it is a free meal. Too many other great places to eat where I don't have to pay a 15-20% mark up over normal rates.

If this is true I will give this place a shot and spin some slots.

You have to have friends. You'll never make it.

The friends night is just a night to help the employees train as far as it's been explained to me. So it's not something you can really get into unless you're a close friend of an employee. I don't even know if that's property-wide. I only know our department put it in our itinerary.
